Ready for church! I love this dress.

I absolutely love my kids....Emmett has about 3-4 complete meltdowns a day lately. I wonder if they'll ever stop and I hope I'm dealing with them properly. Most of the time he cries in "time out" and then can come out when he's done. It usually ends with him saying, " mom...I want to hold you." Then after I feel like he's cried enough I hold him for a minute and he's done. He's been in underwear for about 9 days now. He poops his pants nearly everyday. I dont' know how to get him to go poop in the toliet. I don't think I should put him back in diapers but this can't go on forever. Any suggestions????

Adah is just a doll! She is 7 months old now and is a happy baby. She takes 2-3 naps a day and sleeps pretty good at night. I'm still getting up once and sometimes twice a night,but we're up for 10 minutes and then she's back to sleep. She is doing better at sitting up but I wouldn't say she's sitting independantly yet. We're getting closer. She cries everytime I walk out of the room, which is really annoying. She has liked all the foods I've given her which has been squash, sweet potatoes, and green beans. Not a picky eater!

Brinley's Quilt

I made this quilt for my neice Brinley. She turned 9 a couple weeks ago. Natalie and I picked out the material together and I think it turned out great. It took a lot of time to piece this one together but it was a lot of fun. The Corn Wagon in Springville quilted it for her.
We went to their house for her birthday party and when she opened the quilt Emmett yelled out, " ohhhh my gorgeous! It's for you." It was so funny! We all laughed! I hope Brinley enjoys it. I was happy to make it for her and especially to help Natalie. Natalie has done so much for me and it's the least I can do for her. Natalie watched Emmett for 2 years when I had to work. One day I want to help somebody the way she has helped me with my kids. She's awesome!

Potty Training

Emmett finally went potty in the toliet last Friday. I was getting him in the tub and he asked to sit on the toliet and he actually went. I was sooo happy! Emmett didn't really know what to think because I was shouting for JOY! I have a box of cows on top of the toliet so when he goes he can choose a cow. As of today he has 2 cows. I'm so proud of him. Today he tried to get a cow after seeing me to go the bathroom. He said, " Good job mommy. You get a cow." We both knew he was just trying to sneak one for himself.

Emmett has been so funny lately. He says the cutest things and makes me laugh all day. Today he asked me what time it was. What does it matter? He has no schedule! Emmett takes a nap about every other day. The days he doesn't nap he crashed around 5-6pm and I have to fight to keep him awake until bedtime.
