9 month Picures

Here are a couple of the pictures my friend Jenny took of Adah. This first one is my favorite.

Adah 9 months

Adah has had some serious bed head lately. She is getting more hair and it's getting longer. She started crawling this past month and hasn't stopped. It's ruined her nap schedule. She falls asleep ok but wakes up 20 minutes later and then stands up in her crib and wants out. I hope this is just a stage cause it's starting to wear on the both of us. She needs to nap more/longer.













Such a big girl in her high chair. She said her first word this week. She said, "uh-oh". She likes to drop things out of her high chair and I always say, "uh-oh" and she finally repeated it. It's so cute. I'm going to work on having her say mama and dada next. We've been trying to teach her to sign "more" but she hasn't caught on yet. I won't give up.

Adah was really sick for the first time this past month. She had an ear infection and we got an antibiotic for her. It was the first time in months that she let me hold her. I hated seeing her sick but I LOVED holding her. She never cuddles me or lays her head on me...ever. I knew I had to take advantage of this moment, and I did.

Emmett's 3rd Birthday

Happy Birthday to Emmett. Today was the greatest day of Emmett's existence. He was so happy all day. He actually understood it was his birthday and he was excited for the presents and cake. He loved opening his presents, and it was even more fun for us to watch him open them. He got a new Thomas The Train set and about 6 new cars for his set. He also got a coloring book, stickers, crayons, and two new cows. Pretty good day for this kid!
