10 minute Adah. Bret calls Adah "10 minutes Adah" because she's only content in one spot for 10 minutes. It's kind of true but she's a busy girl and needs excitement and change.


Emmett is a puzzle wizard, just like his mom! This kid is a genius.

Santa Claus

We went and saw Santa Claus today. Emmett was pretty excited and he told Santa he wanted lots of animals, cows, and horses for Christmas. He even let Santa hold his long horned cow, which you can see in the picture below. Santa was really cute with Emmett and told him to close his eyes and say, " SNOW". Emmett looked at him funny and then finally did it, and fake snow started falling. It was really fun for him!
Adah didn't know what to think but she didn't cry. I was SHOCKED! She doesn't let anybody hold her, let alone a stranger with a long white beard. Santa proceeded to tell me babies like men because in the womb they could only hear deep voices so they feel secure with men. Hmmmm....anyways.....

Christmas Stockings

I finally finished the Christmas stockings that I started last year. I was pregnant with Adah last Christmas and decided I might as well wait until the baby came before I finished them. I think they turned out cute.
