Adah 6 months
Adah turned 6 months old this last week. She is something else, and I just love her to pieces. She is very particular about who holds her or even makes eye contact with her. Usually it's only mom or dad who can hold her and it's been this way for several months. She is becoming more entertained by Emmett. She smiles when he talks to her. He still gets too close to her face or randomly decides to throw a toy at her. I feel bad that she is put through so much torture, but most of the time he just loves her and is wanting to kiss constantly. Emmett loves when he hears her cry from her crib and he asks me if he can go check on her.
She likes rice cereal and is getting closer to being able to sit up on her own. She goes to bed at 8:30pm and will wake up around 3:00am to eat and goes back to bed until 6:00am (eats again)and then usually goes back to bed again until 7:30am. Then she is only awake about an hour and a half and needs another morning nap for about an hour. During the day she likes to take naps every 2-3 hours and usually sleeps 1-2 hours at a time. She still takes 3-4 naps a day. I'm wanting to try to get her to take less naps but longer naps. I can't complain though cause she really is a good baby. I'm still nursing her but she is getting better at taking a bottle.
14lbs 13 oz = 26%
26 3/4 inches = 85%
I cant' remember her head circum but it's in the 33%.
She's been drooling an awful lot lately and I'm wondering if we'll see a tooth soon. Emily watched her the other day for me while I went running and Adah cried the whole time. Emily later said
"I'll watch Emmett for you anytime but I'm not taking Adah. Looks aren't everything!" Adah is beautiful and she does have a really cute personality that comes out more and more each day. I'm so thankful she's a part of our family.

My babies
I absolutely love this picture. I love that both my kids are smiling! We only got 1 picture in this pose and luckily it turned out great. Seconds after this picture Adah started to tip and Emmett was slowly letting go of her. I was right there and grabbed her before she face planted it in the cement. I was almost mad at myself for even attempting to let him hold her. Glad I saved the day! Here are a few more of my favorites:
