Before the bath, my kids like to run around naked. This time Emmett helped Adah wrap a blanket around her!

My mom turned 65 on March 15th. Emmett wanted to give her one of his animals and then he decided she could only borrow it. After she opened the zebra, he said, "Can I hold it?" We all laughed cause he was having such a hard time giving it away. My mom ended up borrowin it for a week and then she gave it back :)

We went to Color Me Mine for my mom's bday. This is the plate I painted. It's going to be our special plate that somebody in our family gets to use when they've done something special or extra ordinary.

My mom loved the canvas we gave her of our baby pictures. It turned out really cute.

Our newest addition to our family. Montana finally had her baby on March 24 2013. We went down before church and Bret looked under the horse and said it's a girl. He was kind of bummed, and we left to church. After we stopped back by and he said, " I wish it was magically a boy". Well we got out and looked again and guess what???? It's a colt! He was so happy. We seem to only have mares and Bret really wanted a boy horse.

Nana

My Grandma (Nana) had a stroke last Thursday. She's doing great now but it was pretty scary. She's 91 years old and in really good health. She's a very busy woman. She goes to senior citizens, PW (presbyterian woman), church, goes to REAMS grocery store daily, drives herself to get her hair/nails done, attends all family gatherings, works in the yard, the list goes on... My mom was telling us the story of when it happened, and they were in walmart and she saw my grandma start to fall. She caught her and immediately know what had happened. My mom yelled for somebody to call 911 and they sat her in a chair. My Grandma said she didn't feel anything coming on and she remembers it all. She said she remembers trying to tell my mom something but her words came out slurred. I asked my Grandma if she remembered what she was trying to tell my mom and my Grandma said, "Ohhhh I don't rememeber. I was probably trying to tell her not to call 911." So typical...Nana won't make a peep if anything is wrong with her and doesn't like the attention. I just loved her response! Luckily though they got her to hospital very quickly, which helped cause less damage to her brain. I'm very thankful my mom was with her when it happened. I sure love Nana and would like to keep her around as long as possible!

Zoo

I took work off last Thursday and we went to the zoo. Jude came with us and that made me happy. She and Emmett feel asleep on the way up there, and I wish I would have taken a picture of them. It was cute. Emmett loved the monkeys, and we spent a lot of time watching them. We ended up buying him a stuffed animal monkey and he wore it around his neck all day. I love buying that kid stuff. I could spend all my money on toys, clothes, etc... for him. I guess thats what moms do.

On Sunday Emily, Shayne, Max, and Jude came down for some home cooked chili. I know it's July and who eats chili when its 100 degrees outside, but its Bret's favorite!

This picture is for Cory. Bret and I scrubed our kitchen floor. I usually clean it with the swiffer wet jet ,but it still needs a good washin on your hands and knees. Doesn't it look nice???

Lastly, Brinley and Austin came over the other night ,and we let the kids run in the rain. They had a blast. I love summer rain storms, wish we had more of them :)
